Musical Compère Debut at Blitz Music Club

The New London Times was invited down to the Blitz Club just off the market square in upper New London. Showcasing this very night was a brand new Music Compère, a Ms Scribe. She has been playing throughout this spring evening and much enjoyment has been had so far.

A lady to watch out for, I must say!

Cuts protest in Adipose Square!

Music master Mr Garf Serpente, known to some of his rabble as "DJ Garf" or "The Garfuncle" entertained visitors and regulars to New London with an anti-cuts protest in Adipose Square - highlighting the unfair cuts that are sweeping England. New Head Guide "elected."

It was confirmed today that Ms Wellzy Horngold has become New London Village's Head Guide, defeating her only rival (Mr Harold Saxondale) to the post.

With the recent UFO sightings over the Village, Ms Horngold may need all her skills to keep the residents of New London calm. The New London Times wishes her well in her role.

Accusations by Mr Saxondale that the vote count was rigged have been strenuously denied by Governor Kassner, who said "Mr Saxondale was in a fair contest and he must accept that."

" Democracy and fairness are very important to New Londoners" added the unelected Dictator. "Mr Saxondale will be put in the stocks if his petulant behaviour continues!"

UFO sightings astonish New Londoners!

Stories are rife this Sunday morning that large saucer like objects have been seen maneuvering over New London Village, close to the vicinity of Big Ben and Tower Bridge. One man, who did not wish to be named, described the ships as "large circular dishes with domes underneath." He went on to describe how the crafts came very low, circling St Stephens Tower, home to the famous bell Big Ben, then while one simply vanished, another moved towards Tower Bridge before it too disappeared.

We will of course bring you more on this story as information reaches us!
